Summary
The Milkomeda protocol is a cross-chain interoperability solution that facilitates communication between two blockchains. Specifically, the sidechain bridge handles the logic on the EVM side of the bridge.
The assessment of the Milkomeda smart contracts resulted in 17 findings, including medium severity issues related to wADA being trapped in the implementation contract, contract deployment problems, and removing validator nodes from the network. Low severity findings included issues with proxy-implementation deployment and unsafe external calls. Additionally, there were informational findings providing observations, typographical suggestions, and opportunities for gas optimization.
At the time of the fix review, 11 findings were resolved according to our recommendations and 1 finding was identified as a non-issue. The 5 remaining findings were not fixed. The Milkomeda team acknowledges these findings and intends to investigate them at a later date.
